07-2006 Recognition of New Alumni Association
 
 

The fundamental principles behind the establishment of an Alumni Association is to formally organize a dental technician group, identify programs for continuous education, upgrade the professional status of dental technician as a partner in dental health care team, and eventually, seek due recognition to this unsung heroes of the dental health care industry.

The Alumni Association is composed of eight (8) working committee members form different batches of the 1-year CDLT Course which is nominated by their classmates. The composition of the working committee is designed in such a way that all batches is represented in the committee. Currently the committee is chaired by a President from the 1 st batch and a Vice-president from the 2 nd batch, while other positions are allocated to other batch-representatives. Furthermore, all graduating students will automatically become a member of the said association.

Last July 1, 2006, the Alumni Association was formally recognized during the combined graduation ceremony of the 1 st batch of the 1-year CDLT and the 5 th batch of the Dental Porcelain Technique Course. Moreover, during that same occasion the Working Committee members of the Alumni Association had their oath taking.
